Category: Diving Safety Management
Location: Global; Panama S.A
Date: October - November 2019

Job overview
Post the review a programme was agreed to implement a robust Diving Safety Management System. Initial requested documentation was supplied prior to mobilising to the client’s location. Following an intense two-week office-based review a full suite of new documents was produced which integrated within the extant ISO9001 Quality Management System. To ensure all staff were conversant with the new processes, procedures and documentation a series of seminars were held prior to the roll out. The roll out took seven days during which DSS supported the dive teams on-site in the correct use and completion of the documentation.
Audit documentation was produced and a schedule of on-site audits conducted to assess collaboration.
A Diving Safety Management committee was established and agenda agreed so that the DSMS and diving operations could be monitored and reviewed appropriately.
